TDI Extended Range

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enroll on the TDI Extended Range course is 18, you should already be certified as TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver, or equivalent, and have logged at least 100 dives, of which 25 must be deeper than 30 meters.

Who this course is for

Divers with an interest in deep decompression diving, and for those who are considering continuing their training with the TDI trimix and/or advanced trimix course(s).

What’s in it for you

This course effectively completes your training for decompression diving using air as a bottom gas, this course provides an opportunity to refine your knowledge and skills, and provide experience diving at depths of 55 meters. Your course will cover topics such as the history of deep air diving, physics, physiology, decompression theory, equipment selection and configuration, diving procedures, team descent and ascent considerations, technical dive support teams and navigation.

This course is supported by e-learning, we will need to get some additional information from you via email, as soon as we have that and your course payment, we can give you online access.

If you have any suitable equipment of your own we highly recommend using it, however use all the required rental equipment is included in your course fee.  If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
