TDI Nitrox Diver

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enroll on this program is 18, 15 with parental consent, you should already be certified as an open water diver, or currently be enrolled on an open water diver course.

Who this course is for

This course is for divers that are interested in diving with enriched air mixtures, who are interested in extending their bottom time, and possibly have an interest in moving forward with technical diving education.

What’s in it for you

Anyone moving into technical diving needs to have a solid understanding of the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for using nitrox mixes from 22 through 40 percent oxygen content, the equipment associated with it, along with cylinder labeling, analyzing nitrox mixtures, and gas blending procedures. Once finished you will have the ability to dive utilizing EAN-22 to EAN-40 without direct supervision, and be eligible to enroll in TDI Advanced Nitrox, TDI Decompression Procedures, TDI Semi-closed Rebreather courses.

This course is supported by e-learning, we will need to get some additional information from you via email, as soon as we have that and your course payment, we can give you online access.

If you have any suitable equipment of your own we highly recommend using it, however use all the required rental equipment is included in your course fee.  If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
