TDI Advanced Nitrox 

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enroll on TDI Advanced Nitrox is 18, 15 with parental consent, you should already be certified as TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent, and be able to show proof of  25 logged open water dives

Who this course is for

This is the perfect start for enriched air divers that wish to expand their understanding of nitrox mixtures containing more than 40% oxygen, who would like to develop their in-water skills, and have ambitions to move forward with technical diving education.

This course sets the stage for your technical diver training,  building on what you learned in your enriched air class, the advanced nitrox course offers a more in-depth look at diving with nitrox including the physics and physiology relating to diving with gas mixes containing more than 40% oxygen, advanced gas planning, and the equipment considerations for this level of diving including cylinder labeling, analyzing nitrox mixtures, gas blending procedures, and oxygen service ratings for using gases with more than 40% oxygen. we highly recommend combining this course with TDI decompression procedures.

This course is supported by e-learning, we will need to get some additional information from you via email, as soon as we have that and your course payment, we can give you online access.

If you have any suitable equipment of your own we highly recommend using it, however use all the required rental equipment is included in your course fee.  If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
