TDI Intro to Tech

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enroll on this program is 18, 15 with parental consent, you should already be certified as SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent, and have logged at least 25 logged open water dives.

Who this course is for

This is the perfect start for anybody to begin their training as a technical diver, this course will familiarize you with the equipment technical divers use, and how to configure it. You will learn the motor skills and procedures you need to continue onto programs such as Advanced Nitrox, and Decompression Procedures, you can combine this course with other entry level technical programs if you wish.

What’s in it for you

This two day certification program will get you comfortable with the basics in technical diving equipment, allowing you to move onto your chosen technical diving course without the distraction of learning how to use the gear at the same time. By the end of the two days you will be as comfortable using a technical rig, as you would using your recreational setup.

This course is supported by e-learning, we will need to get some additional information from you via email, as soon as we have that and your course payment, we can give you online access.

If you have any suitable equipment of your own we highly recommend using it, however use all the required rental equipment is included in your course fee.  If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
