TDI Intro to Cave Diver

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enrol on the TDI Intro to Cave course is 18, 15 with parental consent, you should already be certified as TDI Cavern Diver certification or equivalent, and have logged at least 25 logged open water dives.

Who this course is for

This course is for certified cavern divers, or those who would like to combine the cavern course with this one. Building on what divers learn during the cavern course, intro to cave takes a diver past the natural light zone, using a single unbroken guide line, and line markers, to explore some incredibly exclusive diving areas.

What’s in it for you

Successfully completing the requirements of this challenging course will certify you to plan and execute cave dives, as part of a team, beyond the natural light zone, whilst using a single unbroken guideline to the surface or open water. This course makes an excellent combination with TDI Cavern Diver if you are not already certified.

This course is supported by e-learning, we will need to get some additional information from you via email, as soon as we have that and your course payment, we can give you online access.

If you have any suitable equipment of your own we highly recommend using it, however use all the required rental equipment is included in your course fee.  If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
