The minimum age to enrol on the TDI Extended Range Instructor course is 21, you should already be certified as TDI Advanced Nitrox and Staged Decompression Instructor or the equivalent, hold a current CPR and first aid certification. Minimum certification of TDI Extended Range Diver or equivalent. Provide proof of 250 logged dives, 25 must be extended range dives, and have certified 10 students in advanced nitrox diver or decompression procedures diver, a minimum of 5 must be decompression procedures divers.
Who this course is for
The TDI Extended Range Instructor Course trains students to depths of depths of up to 55 metres, whilst recognizing the risks and hazards of doing so, candiates are taught to use multiple decompression gasses, and execute extended staged decompression dives. The goal of this course is to bring you to the point where you can comfortably run these courses, and provide qaulity instruction for your students.
What you can expect
There will be time dedicated to skill and knowledge development, and the balance to evaluation. You will be asked to present topics such as kit set-up, equipment requirements, decompression techniques, decompression breathing gases, lift bag / DSMB deployment, decompression tables. The course is intended to be challenging.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
