PADI Cavern Diver

Course Prerequisites 

The PADI Cavern Diver course is available to those certified as PADI Advanced Open Water Divers, or an equivalent, and who are at least 18 years of age.

Who this course is for

Caverns are often some of the most impressive dive sites around but remain the exclusive domain of those who have received the proper training needed to safely conduct dives in an overhead environment. This course also provides the foundation for additional training such as TDI intro to cave, or TDI Full cave.

What you can expect

Normally taught over 2 days, this is a 4 dive course and includes workshops on equipment modification, emergency procedures in an overhead environment, and proper use of guidelines from reels and spools, and how to understand line markers. You will lead and follow dives in a cavern environment.

There are some materials for you to enjoy which are included in your course fee, these will be issued to you on arrival. All required equipment is included in the course fee, please just bring any items needed to remain comfortable, such as a towel, change of clothes and sun protection. If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
