TDI Discover CCR

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enroll on the TDI Discover CCR experience is 18, you should already be certified as TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent, for a pool only experience participants must show proof of 10 logged open water dives, for the open water experience participants must show proof of 25 logged open water dives.

Who this course is for

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to dive without bubbles here is your chance, this is also a very good opportunity to try out a specific closed circuit rebreather before committing to purchasing and/or training on one.

What you can expect

The program is flexible, but typically we run this course over two hours. We will show you how the CCR goes together, it’s main components, answer any questions you have about the unit, and get it configured for you. We will try it out in a confined water area and get you comfortable, those with the right amount of experience can elect to try it in the open water.

All required equipment is included in the course fee, please just bring any items needed to remain comfortable, such as a towel, change of clothes and sun protection.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
