TDI CCR Air Diluent Diver

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enrol on the TDI CCR Air Diluent course is 18, 15 with parental consent, you should already be certified as TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent from agencies recognized by TDI, and have logged at least 20 logged open water dives.

Who this course is for

This course is for those that wish to use Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR) within the limits of air diving. This can appeal for a number of reasons, the near silence that comes with the absence of bubbles and breathing from a second stage, photographers and videographers that do not want to disturb their subjects, and those that would like to continue their CCR training with mixed gasses.

What’s in it for you

Successfully completing this course certifies you to use your CCR to depths of up to 30 meters, with air as your diluent. You will gain the knowledge and skills required to safely plan and execute a CCR dive.

This course is supported by e-learning, we will need to get some additional information from you via email, as soon as we have that and your course payment, we can give you online access.

You have the option to either rent the required equipment from us for use during your training or to purchase your own rEvo CCR, which can be delivered to you, or we can have it ready for you when you arrive. If purchasing there are a number of factors to consider when choosing the configuration of your CCR. Please let us know your preference when booking.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
