TDI Advanced Wreck Instructor

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enrol on the TDI Advanced Wreck Instructor is 21, you should already be certified as TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor or equivalent, hold a current CPR and first aid certification. Minimum certification of TDI Decompression Procedures and TDI Advanced Wreck Diver or equivalent. Provide proof of 200 logged dives, at least 50 must be wreck dives, 25 must be wreck penetration dives, and have certified 10 students in SDI Wreck Diver or equivalent.

Instructors with sufficent wreck diving and decompression diving experience who feel ready to train divers in some very challenging environments,

What you can expect

During the TDI Advanced Wreck Instructor Course, the instructor candidate will master techniques of instilling comfort, confidence and discipline in the advanced wreck student as well as equipment configuration, penetration skills, research techniques and sharpening decompression skills.

This course is not supported by e-learning, all required digital materials will be made available to you upon confirming your booking.

We highly recommend using your own equipment for the course, we can arrange rental equipment if this is not possible, please let us know what is needed when making your booking.  If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

Your course fee does not include travel expenses for the instructor trainer, please discuss these with us prior to booking, these will be shared between all candidates attending the program.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
