PADI Rescue Diver

Course Prerequisites 

PADI Adventure Divers who are at least 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll on a PADI Rescue Diver course, although it is more common to proceed after completing your Advanced Diver course. You also need to have CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months, you can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course.

Who this course is for

Rescue divers are extremely valuable to any dive team, these are worthwhile skills that can save lives. More often than not we see rescue divers continuing onto divemaster and instructor courses.

What you can expect

The course comprises of accademic sessions in the classroom, shallow water skills development and open water scenarios that tie everything together. Typically this course is run over 3 days, add an additional day if you need to include first aid and cpr training with your rescue course.

This course is supported by e-learning, we will need to get some additional information from you via email, as soon as we have that and your course payment, we can give you online access.

All required equipment is included in the course fee, please just bring any items needed to remain comfortable, such as a towel, change of clothes and sun protection.  If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
