PADI Discover Tec

Course Prerequisites 

To be eligible for the PADI Discover Tec experience a diver must be a PADI Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization, be at least 18 years old,  and have 10 or more logged dives.

Who this course is for

This is the perfect start for anybody who would like to start their training as a technical diver, this course will familiarise you with the equipment technical divers use, and how to configure it. You will learn the motor skills and procedures you need to continue onto programs such as PADI Tec 40, you can combine this course with other entry level technical programs if you wish.

What you can expect

The program is flexible, but typically we run this course over two full days, you will participate in equipment assembly and configuration workshops, and at least three open water dives in full technical configuration.

All required equipment is included in the course fee, please just bring any items needed to remain comfortable, such as a towel, change of clothes and sun protection. If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
