PADI Advanced Diver

Course Prerequisites 

The minimum age to enroll on the PADI Advanced Diver course is 12 years old, and you must be certified as PADI open water diver (or equivalent), you can continue onto the advanced course directly after finishing your open water course.

Who this course is for

The advanced course is for those of us who need to go a little deeper, try new equipment like sidemount, DPVS or cameras, gain experience in new diving environments such as night or altitude, or learn new skills such as search and recovery, knots and lift bags.

What you can expect

Typically taught over two days, but can be extended over a longer period if you wish. The main thrust of the course is hands-on practical skills, five open water dives, supported by some light academic study. Following the successful completion of this course you will be certified to dive to 18 meters.

This course is supported by e-learning, we will need to get some additional information from you via email, as soon as we have that and your course payment, we can give you online access.

All required equipment is included in the course fee, please just bring any items needed to remain comfortable, such as a towel, change of clothes and sun protection.  If you would like to purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
