Tec Deep Instructor

Course Prerequisites 

To enrol on the PADI Tec Deep Instructor course you must be certified as a DSAT Tec 50 diver, be a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (or PADI Instructor with a higher rating), a PADI Enriched Air Instructor and a PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor, you must have certified a total of ten or more PADI Deep Divers and/or PADI Enriched Air divers (any combination that totals ten is acceptable).  You must have a minimum of 270 dives logged, with at least 25 stage decompression dives that had a maximum depth deeper than 40 meters

This course is for experienced instructors and technical divers, who wish to broaden their teaching opportunities, and that are ready for the challenge of teaching at this level

You will need a copy of the PADI Tec Instructor Manual for this course, which you can purchase from us or PADI, If purchasing from us we can send you an advance soft copy when your course is confirmed. PADI produce some instructor wetnotes, which are not mandatory, but very useful, again these can be purchased from us or PADI.

For technical courses, we highly recommend the use of your own equipment. If you would like to rent or purchase equipment from us for use during your course please let us know when making your booking, we can have that ready for you on arrival, see our store for available dive equipment.

All participants need to be medically fit for diving, to determine this please read, and follow the instructions on the Diver Medical Form. If it highlights a condition you have that requires medical approval you will need this prior to going in the water. We recommend you do this prior to your arrival in Moalboal. We can arrange a visit to the doctor here, but facilities may not be to the same standard where you are from. You can find the form here.
