While using helium-based breathing gases, the TDI Trimix Instructor Course delivers the training required to teach trimix diving that requires staged decompression. Utilizing gases containing no less than 18% oxygen, to depths of 60 meters.
To Sign up you must be a minimum age of 21 years, certified as a TDI Trimix Diver and a TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Instructor, or equivalent. You need to provide proof of 15 certified advanced nitrox or decompression procedures divers; minimum of 10 must be decompression procedures divers. You must provide proof of 250 logged dives with a minimum of 20 logged Trimix dives outside of training, 10 of these dives must be in the last 12 months
The course fee does not include TDI registration fees, these are available from us on request, or from your local TDI office. The course fee does not include helium or oxygen for yourself or the instructor. Each student pays for their own personal gas use, and a share of the instructors. Gas is charged per liter, please ask us for the latest costs.
